my pesky neighbour
i have already described about the kid in my neighbouring house for all newcomers he is an enthusiastic, energetic prank and who has sense which can blow away.a very sharp tongue and is truly outspoken.and this kid mostly lands in trouble due to this character. He recently showed how outspoken and gutsy he is.. his mom was pissed with the kid causing trouble at home and sent her nearby friends place where she hoped he would write handwriting classes and she was busy with her work when she got a call and she told us that this kid had gone to thier house and dint write a single world and started watchin tv not listening to anyone and later asking them to lie to his mom that he had written everything and during that period he lay cozily and dozed off..... spurred on by this attitude the lady got angry and called his mom and told about this and when he realized this he was so angry that on his small cycle he came at full spped and dashed at the motorcycles parked on the motorcycle stand below the house to show his anger....... man this boy is one angry young boy.....
book mania
thanks to the perenial summer of chennai and my laziness i decided aggresively to read books...no no dont get afraid not my syllabus books but books on latrel thinking...like "the other side" by edward de bono and "how to read a person like book" and also spiritual books like "monk who sold his ferrari" and ":alchemist" for the umpteenth time also..but the best book i laid my hands on or rather my eyes on would be an e book released by bharat rakshak.com and sent to me by my partner "war man" it is known as "pakistana failed state" it talks about the hostilities between our countries and the relationship which is badly projected and on our opinions on them......it has jus 206 pages so can be easily finished in one sitting a great book with quotes and citations from pakistani authors themselves...its a free download from the bharat rakshak site...for psychology or non fiction lovers this is a must.

VINODA VIDUMURAI
strange title to the blog??????????? well that was the name of the play i had gone to see at the rani seethai hall..on saturday... watching a play has not been something new to me..but this was the first time i was watching a play in tamil..... i was persuaded to watch this play by my buddy dhirav who got lots of donor passes for this.... and it was such a good experience of watching a drama... very different from a typical tamil movie... it worth the time spent.... coming to the play it was an award winning play.. it had recently bagged 7 awards...and it was worth showing the cruel truth of how a luxurious lifestyle can cause a great communication divide between the parents and the children and also between the spouses.......a great way to start the weekend ......

trip down south........
i was supposed to post this entry two weeks back but i allowed my laziness to get the better of me... he he...........so this was during the second week of feb when we according to our plan left chennai on 7th evenin to go towards nellai or tirunalveli.... its a beautiful place...we reached there by 8th mornin and decided to go to the temple of lord shiva in tirupudaimarudar which is about 30 kms from the city iy is the ancestral tempele worshipped on my maternal side.....
its a huge temple which is relatively unknown it has picterseque setting on the banks of river tamarabarani.... here the god is said to be "swayambhu" or self incarnated
after spendin quite a while in the banks of the river we soon left for agasthiar falls on the way we went to ambasamudram a famous village in those areas and then we went to this waterfalls called agasthiar falls....here it is said that the waterfalls is never dry i.e throughout the 12 months there is water in the falls it was a small and quite one deep in the jungle where i could jus find a lot of baby monkeys nothing else...
but still the water from the falls was tasted by us and it was the true mineral water absolutely clean..... and then we came back to ambasamudram shortly known as ambai for lunch and what a lunch we had in traditional iyer style the food was so good it was so yummy and with the flavor of black pepper it was so scrumptious.......soon after that we left for the nellaiappar temple inside the city and what a temple huge took atleast 2 hrs to roam around it and we dint complete half of the temple........and then we visited quite a few temples inside the city and returned back...we were exhausted......
the next day we left for tiruchendur a port city about 60kms away and famous for its temple of lord subramanya we left early and reached there by 9.30 and we had to follow an age old tradition which prohibited men from wearin any upper body clothes again this was one huge temple but we finished by 11.00 and started back to the city where we had lunch in again a traditional manner and then we dozed off we went for some shopping to get some famous sea work and handi items and quite some leather works
finally on sunday we went for the marraige of our family friend which was the main reason for us to go to nellai and then when it got over we left nellai came to madurai and visited my aunt stayed there for quite a few hours and then left back for chennai by 23.00 hrs and was back in chennai by11th feb to complete a whirlwind trip which was great......

twee twee SMS
now its often easy to hear all sort of new text alerts coming and it sounds really cool.......... does that it might not when it hinders your job....lol........... this happened abt a fortnight back when me varda, sal and gilma had gone to watch the new rambo flick........ it was quite a good movie and after that we thought of havin lunch and we headed towards olive green in alwarpet and it was close to the kitchen closing time......so we just settled for two combo dishes and we were slowly munchin on them and discussing casually about college and other stuff...... this did not make the waiter happy and you could see it in his face how he was trying to hide it.....so suddenly when he was serving us the main course his phone gave this cute message alert the whole place was deserted and we were the only ppl there....and this alert litreally scared him off.....he was dumbstruck and we could not stop giggling he felt as if he was insulted.....lol......
poor chap and to add salt to injury we jus left him 2 rs as tips.[:p]........lol
but then we decided to give him some more

A win atlast.............
at last valencia win for the first time in 2 months in the premiera liga....... and it was more special as we qualified into the semi finals of copa del rey and now face the daunting task of facing barcelona.....but coming back to the win it was a deserved 3 points at valladolid easing a little pressure from ronald koeman...... he must ensure that they win this weekend against betis and than at getafe the run in looks quite easy on paper and atlast they looked clinical in front of goal with both villa and mata getting on the scoresheet.......... juan manuel mata looks to be a bright light in this dissapointing campaign he was intially planned to be loaned but he seems ready for the big time he has good ball skills and looks quite sharp it would be intresting to see him pair up with david silva on the wings that looks decisive i jus hope thay hit a purple patch.................. go los che
MRTS
By no way this is inteded to be a review of MRTS.....but my personal opnion on that service...........
it takes 20 minutes for me to travel by bus if i want to go by bus to my college and about 15 mins if its a two wheeler or my car.....but i reach inside 15 mins if i take MRTS...by the MRTS stands for mass rapid transport system which is intended to be like delhi metro but fails way short of it......but all in all it does seem a good package the ticket costs jus 10 bucks allowing me to save cash and it is mostly empty and the crowd also is decent..........thus its a pretty good service
